I'm Sprung

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I decided I had enough to say to post but with spring finally showing the midwest some sunshine, I am itching to transition to spring/summer clothes!

Every year the styles and trends change but if you noticed, trendy is a really relative term. If you have style and wear your fit with confidence, who is going to tell you, you don't own it?! Commit to it and the rest is called style hunni! I hate when people ask me what's "in". I don't dress by what's "in", so I couldn't tell you! What I can tell you is that I know what I like and I am usually true to that even when the trends fade. I like to incorporate my personal style in everything I do so if I like patent leather today and they say it's out tomorrow, guess who is still wearing patent leather. . .

With that being said, this list of some of my spring favorites - it is truly just the tip of the heaping clothes pile! I never know how to choose which looks to share but my amature video skills are still a work in progress! Major fail (bare with me y'all the video hauls WILL be coming soon). The images that made it from my try-on are what I decided to share with you. As you gear-up for season change remember that style is effortless and doesn't have to be expensive!

Bell Sleeves

I remember my mom having bell sleeves when I was younger and I thought they were so wack and old school. Mama knows best.

Target find $40

Off the shoulder appeal

Dresses, tops, bodysuits. Show a little shoulder for flirty spring looks.

H&M knit top

L.B.D "little black dress"

the lil black dress is a year round must have but this spring you need a comfy cotton one to dress up and down! Pair it with an oversized denim jacket for weekend wear or the duster below for a more chic and sophisticated look.

Macy's find for $8!

Duster

For that awkward stage in between warm and cool. A duster polishes a look while keeping you cozy. Layers are a great way to add interest to your look. Oh, and monochromatic is a thing! Try it also with your favorite spring pastel.

Target find for $17!

Romper

I never used to like rompers but as my infatuation with jumpers grew it became all inclusive to rompers too! This one from TopShop I love especially because of the of the stripes for long legs and the off shoulder arm details. Triple threat on the style factor!

TopShop find at Nordstrom Rack for $30!
